Snapchat has been upping their game lately to stay in the competition making updates to their app to entice marketers to play on their platform. We’re here to highlight those Snapchat announcements for you so you can see what ways your brand might use the platform to reach your audiences.
They can be launched from the Chat bar within Snapchat and provide users with a way to instantly play games with their friends. When Snap Games launched they partnered with a few gaming companies, such as Zynga and PikPok. It’s only a couple months old and could be a great opportunity for brands to engage their audiences.
Introducing another format to watch shows on, Snap Originals programming. It’s not just Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime and any others I’m forgetting, now apps are getting into television shows. According to Snap Inc. Internal data (Q4 2017 vs. Q4 2018), users have tripled the time they’ve spent watching shows on Snapchat. You can check out their lineup here.

towards the user but two of those have great possibilities for brands.
Ad Kit provides
developers with access to their Snap Audience Network as well as bringing Snap
Ads (their mobile ad format) to their apps. Right now, it’s open for early
access into the program and there are four features you can apply for:
Creative Kit is a great new feature that integrates your brands app or website directly into Snapchat just by clicking a ‘Share to Snapchat’ button. Users can share articles, high scores in games, and more seamlessly.
